"Topeka Freedom Singers" is a micro doc following Rita Chiarelli as she conducts a music workshop at The Topeka Women's Correctional Facility in Kansas.
Rita is a recipient of the 2017 Artist-in-Residency program of Folk Alliance International which sponsored the workshop. The doc was commissioned by FAI and premiered at the annual FAI Conference on February 17th, 2017 ahead of Ani DiFranco's keynote speech.
